Visit Us
Oregon Contemporary is always free for exhibitions, and free-to-low cost for our programs. We welcome everyone.
First Saturdays are an opportunity to experience art throughout the center, in our galleries and performance spaces. Our partner tenants also open up for the night, and we often offer food and special performances.
Around the building
Oregon Contemporary’s main entrance faces an interior courtyard with benches, a sloping grass hill, and an outdoor stage. Neighbors frequent the courtyard with their children and pets, and those visiting Oregon Contemporary use the space to sit and enjoy food and drinks. We also present sculpture, performances, and outdoor programming in the courtyard.
When you enter you first find Shop Ox with art books and prints, exhibition catalogs, apparel, and more for sale. Shop these unique items and support artists and Oregon Contemporary. Members receive 20% off of most Shop Ox purchases.
Every First Saturday, our Café is open, with beer, wine, and nonalcoholic selections as well as a few choice snacks for sale. During Oregon Contemporary’s exhibition and event hours, drinks may be purchased at the front desk and the café gives visitors a place to relax, catch up with friends, and read books from the shop. Members receive 20% off of café purchases.
