What does a donation to Oregon Contemporary do?

• Supports free access to cutting edge regional to international art for all visitors… this year we hosted nearly 15,000 visitors

• Supports artists and cultural producers being paid fair wages, as established by W.A.G.E. (Working Artists and the Greater Economy)

• Supports First Saturdays with exhibitions and programs throughout the 12,000+ Square foot building.

• Supports discounted partnerships for other arts and community groups to present their work in our building.

29% of these are BIPOC led or majority

Presented
116 Public events and exhibitions with our programs, tenants, and partners
92% of events and all exhibitions were free
57% were donated/discounted event space- including donations of space to communities of BIPOC, LGBTQ+, and People with Disabilities, or deeply discounted for arts and culture groups and Kenton neighborhood events

Maximize your tax deductions

Oregon Contemporary donors are eligible to participate in Oregon’s Cultural Tax Credit. Donors who contribute to Oregon cultural nonprofits are eligible to make a matching donation to the Oregon Cultural Trust and receive a 100% tax credit for their Trust donation (up to $500 for an individual, $1,000 for a couple filing jointly and $2,500 for a Class-C Corporation).
