In 2023, Oregon Contemporary produced 7 major exhibitions including 4 solo large scale shows and 3 groups shows by our Curator in Residence and 32 programs and events, 75% of these were BIPOC. We supported 453 artists, curators, and performers in exhibitions, programs, events, talks, tenant and partner programming and more as well as 74 organizations through tenant spaces, partnerships, events and more, 36% of these were BIPOC. We presented 104 public events and exhibitions with our programs, tenants, and partners, 90% of events and all exhibitions were free and 66% were donated/discounted event space including donations of space to communities of BIPOC, LGBTQ+, and People with Disabilities, or deep discounted for arts and culture groups and Kenton neighborhood events.
